Mass on TV
The Diocese of Duluth sponsors a televised Mass at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., on WDIO-Duluth and WIRT-Hibbing. Christmas tree, wreath sale
Christmas trees and wreaths are for sale at St. Michael’s Church, 4901 E. Superior St., Duluth. Sale hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Norway pine, balsam fir, white pine and spruce trees along with holiday wreaths and sprays are available. Net proceeds go to the 2020 Fund to help pay for church and school maintenance needs. Christmas cookie bake sale
The Holy Rosary Society of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 325 E. Third St., Duluth, is baking and selling Christmas cookies, including a gluten-free option, as a fundraiser. Immaculate Heart Church, Crosslake, and St. Emily Church, Emily, are hosting the Women of Grace Study Program “Full of Grace: Women and the Abundant Life.” The program runs through March 2015, and is held at Immaculate Heart Church, 35208 County Road 37, Crosslake. Retreat center open house
An open house will be held at the Bulldog Lake Craft and Retreat Center, 1182 County Road 8, Hillman (3 miles south of Pine Center, 13 miles north of Hillman), Saturday, Dec. 6, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wine tasting, appetizers, 20 craft vendors, make-n-takes, demos, prizes. Anointing of the Sick
Anointing of the sick is available the first Sunday of the month at 9:15 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Church, 315 S.W. 21st St., Grand Rapids, in the church. This sacrament is offered for those struggling with an illness of any kind. All are welcome to receive this sacrament of healing at any time during an illness or struggle. Rosaries for life

Theology of the Body teen retreat
The diocesan TOBIT (Theology of the Body for Teens) Retreat theme this year is “Discover God’s Plan for Love and Life!” The retreat is for students in grades 9-12. Delve into St. John Paul II’s teaching on Theology of the Body. Mass, talks, adoration, praise and worship, confession, games, sledding, bonfire, friends and small groups fill the weekend.
