The Diocese of Duluth sponsors a televised Mass at 9:30 a.m., every Sunday from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., on WDIO-Duluth and WIRT-Hibbing. Immaculate Heart Church, Crosslake, and St. Emily Church, Emily, are hosting the Women of Grace Study Program “Full of Grace: Women and the Abundant Life.” The program runs through March and is held at Immaculate Heart Church, 35208 County Road 37, Crosslake. Anointing of the Sick
Anointing of the sick is available the first Sunday of the month at 9:15 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Church, 315 S.W. 21st St., Grand Rapids, in the church. This sacrament is offered for those struggling with an illness. All are welcome to receive this sacrament of healing at any time during an illness or struggle. What Is “The Consecrated Life”? Could it be for you? The diocesan TOBIT (Theology of the Body for Teens) Retreat theme this year is “Discover God’s Plan for Love and Life!” The retreat is for students in grades 9-12. Delve into St. John Paul II’s teaching on Theology of the Body. Mass, talks, adoration, praise and worship, confession, games, sledding, bonfire, friends and small groups fill the weekend. Living In Recovery Seminar
Living In Recovery Seminar is held the third Tuesday of every month beginning Jan. 20, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at McCabe Renewal Center, 2125 Abbotsford Ave., Duluth. Newcomers are always welcome. This group works on ongoing life management issues such as spirituality, emotional recovery, forgiveness, relationships, healing and understanding recovery as a daily “way of life.” At least six months’ recovery from an addiction or a completed treatment process is preferred for attendance.
