Anointing of the sick
Anointing of the sick is available the first Sunday of the month at 9:15 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 315 S.W. 21st St., Grand Rapids. All are welcome to receive this sacrament of healing during an illness or struggle. Anointing is available any time by calling the church at (218) 326-2843. Discover God’s plan for love and life Jan. 11-13, 2019, 6 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Sunday (times may be adjusted slightly later). The Theology of the Body Immersion for Teens (TOBIT) retreat will be held at Big Sandy Camp near McGregor. This is a weekend retreat where teens delve deep into St. John Paul II’s teaching on Theology of the Body and delve into some of the deepest questions of human existence, including: What is the meaning of life? Why did God create us male and female? What kind of joys await us in heaven? Why is there evil and how do we overcome it? How do we experience the love we long for?
