MCCL bringing pro-life update to diocese
Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL) is bringing an educational presentation to the Diocese of Duluth. The state’s oldest and largest pro-life organization will present an all-new, pro-life update at eight locations. Thorough information will be offered about abortion in Minnesota, Planned Parenthood, challenges to Minnesota’s law against assisted suicide and legislative efforts to save lives. The free informative meetings in the Diocese of Duluth will be held at:
Sept. 6: Holy Spirit Church, 227 Third St., Two Harbors
Sept. 7: St. Rose Church, 3 Sixth Ave., Proctor
Sept. 8: Moose Lake Depot, Moose Lake
Sept. 14: St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 810 Fifth St., International Falls
Sept. 15: Immaculate Heart Church, 35208 County Road 37, Crosslake
Sept. 15: St. Mary’s Church, 124 Fifth St. S.E., Cook
Sept. 15: Holy Spirit Church, 306 S. Second St., Virginia
Sept. 16: Alliance Church, Grand Rapids

Together in Life, Blessed Sacrament Parish pro-life ministry in Hibbing, marked Father’s Day with the sale of caramels after all Masses. The ministry is dedicated to prayer, education and charity to promote and defend human life. Part of the educational aspect highlights the impact fathers have on the development of children in their emotional, spiritual, financial and social development. Fathers were honored and blessed during the Sunday liturgy.
