St Agnes and Sacred Heart Catholic Community in Walker/Hackensack

is seeking to employ a part time DRE/Youth Coordinator cum Facilitor for the approximate 100 young people of all ages between the two parishes. The main job will be to assist the curriculum development and facilitate/teach classes as needed with proactive initiatives to build-up the faith of the young people as per expectations of the Diocese of Duluth policies.

The parish is looking for someone who has passion for his/her faith as well as being able to communicate it with the young people. He/she should have some Catholic Theology background and be willing to commit to the job for a couple of years for the sake of the stability of the program.

Director of Faith Formation
The Church of St. Stephen, founded in 1856, is a financially stable, vibrant, large Catholic community located in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis. We are seeking a full-time Director for our Faith Formation Department. This person is responsible for providing leadership, training, and the development of the curriculum for all parish faith formation programs including: childhood and adult formation, religious education, RCIA, Sacramental preparation, and youth ministry programs.

Compensation
Salary is competitive with that of other large parishes, and commensurate with experience. Also included is a generous benefit package.

Qualifications
Educational Level: Possess a Master’s Degree in Catholic Religious Studies, Catholic Religious Education, Catholic Theology, or the equivalent
Desired Level of Experience: Five or more years of parish ministry experience preferred
Active, participating Catholic who loves the Church and embraces what it teaches
Strong supervisory skills
Committed to parish vision and values
Well versed in Faith Formation curricula
