March for Life High School Pilgrimage

2018 March for Life

Diocese of Duluth High School Students have been invited to join students from the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis on a pilgrimage to Washington, DC for the Annual March for Life.


Date(s): Tuesday, January 16 - Sunday, January 21
Location: Washington, DC

 Cost: $465

Includes: Students for Life of America (SFLA) Conference, bus transportation and tip, hotel, 6 meals, visits to D.C. landmarks, attendance at National March for Life. (Pilgrims responsible for up to 9 meals, mostly during the bus trip.)

Families of high school pilgrims are welcome to attend (i.e. parents, siblings with parents).  Registration will open October 1. Registration will be managed  through the Office of Marriage and Family Life, Diocese of Duluth, and is on a first come-first  served basis. Final balance is due and forms completed by  November 22.

1:30 p.m. Free Bus leaves the Cathedra of Our Lady, Duluth MN

5:15 p.m. Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Paul; 7 p.m. Depart by bus from Saint Paul

Wednesday, January 17

Arrive in Washington, DC

Thursday, January 18

Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception; Day on the D.C. Mall; Spend the day on the National Mall and visit the Lincoln Memorial

Friday, January 19

National Rally and March for Life

Saturday, January 20

Students for Life of America (SFLA) Conference; Depart for Minnesota

Sunday, January 21

4-6 p.m. Estimated arrival in Minnesota

6:30 p.m. Leaves St. Paul Mn

9:30 p.m. Arrives back at the Cathedral of Our Lady, Duluth, MN


Important Notes on Registration:  

1.  When you register, you will make a password.  Please remember this password and the e-mail address you used to register so you are able to log back in to check your balance, make payments, and register for future events.

2.  As you are completing registration, you are sent to the registration confirmation page.  Do not check the box within the yellow rectangle agreeing to the “Active Advantage Program” or it will sign you up for a 30-day "free" trial and automatically give you a membership that includes a yearly fee if you do not cancel in time. 

3.  When you register, you will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail from   IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE AN AUTOMATIC REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION E-MAIL from, please e-mail Betsy Kneepkens to make sure you are registered and we have your correct e-mail address and that your child is actually registered.  If you cannot find the confirmation e-mail, please check your junk e-mail box.  Thank you!  There are additional forms included within your confirmation email that must be completed and returned to us by October 25, 2017.  
4.  A $200 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.  The total cost is $475 (due Nov 22.).  After you register, you will be able to make payments in your account at All payments are due by Wednesday, November 22, 2017.  The deposit is non-refundable.  There are no refunds after November 22.  You may substitute someone else to fill your place until December 1, with an additional fee of $25.00.  After December 1, you may not have a substitute attend in your place.
