***COVID-19 Special Funding Available

The Coronavirus has impacted all of us, but it is our most vulnerable neighbors who are most at risk. The Diocese of Duluth is offering small grants to organizations engaged in assisting the poor, to help with the extra expenses needed in this once in a lifetime crisis. Grants will be limited to $800.

As Catholics, we believe in caring for people at all stages of life from conception until natural death – this is our social apostolate. We do this through programs such as CRS Ricebowl during Lent, exercising our right and duty to be faithful citizens, caring for the poor and needy of our society, and so much more. Check out the links on the right to find out more about our programs.

Catholic Book Club

During this time of Social Distancing, make spiritual reading and conversation part of your days with the Diocese of Duluth Catholic Book Club!

Our first book will be "The Joy of the Gospel" (Evangelii Gaudium) By Pope Francis. It can be accessed online for free here or by searching "the Joy of the Gospel" online, and our online discussions will begin on Friday, March 27. Facilitating the conversation will be Patrice Critchley-Menor, Director of the Office of Social Apostolate.

Open to anyone who’s interested, the book club will feature a private Facebook group for ongoing discussion for approximately 10 days. Please click here to sign up, and you will be invited to join the private Facebook group. If you have any questions, please contact Patrice at [email protected]
